UPDATE: May 5th, 2020
Thank you so much for supporting us during #GivingTuesdayNow.
We are so grateful for the generosity of our community. We realize that this is a difficult time for everyone, but if you are able to donate and help keep PIFF afloat, we would be so grateful.
Anyone who gives during this time (Tuesday, May 5th, 2020) will be given a Day Pass to our festival as a thank you, which we hope to complete this year, as soon as the Governor of California lifts the ban on movie theaters.
We are all in this together, and cannot wait to see you all at the movies!
For nine days and nights, we showcase more than 100 PIFF entrants from 15+ countries
including features, shorts, documentaries, music videos, animation and web series.
Every film programming block
ends with a moderated-hosted Q&A. Mix and mingle in the lobby; have your picture taken on the red carpet, chat with the press or hob nob with the stars.

"The Pasadena International Film Festival is an experience not to be missed by filmmakers. From the elegant black tie "Great Gatsby" Gala Opening night, to the diverse, informative panels, to the top quality screenings in an actual mainstream movie theatre… in over ten years of traveling the festival circuit with multiple films, this was, hands down, one of the best-run festivals, and the best times I have even had AT a festival. I wish I had another film ready to go so I could submit next year!"
— Heather Connell
director, Forget Us Not
"You guys really put on a show! The organization and logistics… everything ran so smoothly, and looked so positively effortless, that it belied all the long hours and dedication you poured into this project. You also managed to assemble a marvelous group of volunteers and staff, all of whom are to be commended for their work. I heard nothing but superlatives from all who attended. [...] My wife and I, along with our friends, are already looking forward to next year's festival -- and to watching it grow in your capable hands."
— Michael Gross
actor, Family Ties
"It's so cool to be back to this festival. They do such a good job! I mean, it's flawless. I've been to a lot of festivals and Pasadena is one of the most flawlessly put on, well organized, beautiful festivals, in this beautiful hotel and this wonderful courtyard... it's just a nice thing."

director, The Walk
Pasadena International Film Festival, now in its seventh year, has brought films from around the world to the great city of Pasadena, long known for its love of arts and culture. We are a grass-roots organization, however, and rely on the support of film aficionados to sustain it. Please consider becoming a PIFF sponsor today.
